ebrake not working!!

just replaced rotors calipers and pads. ebrake is not working. could leaving it in gear hurt it after awhile. any suggestions to fixing this?

you messed up something on the rear brakes quite obviously, check them. follow the ebrake cable all the way back, and see if its cut or something.

you should always leave it in gear, its the e-brake thats optional

also check and make sure you put everything on right again when you were re assembling the rear brakes

make sure you have the ebrak line hooked up (or hooked up right) in the back (both sides)... if it is hooked up right try adjusting tension.
