ebrake light always on

ever since i let the people at midas put a new master cylinder in and replaced the brake pads my ebrake light has been on. i'm not low on any fluid, what else could be the problem?

the guy said something about a seal that looked like it could leak on one of the lines to the rear caliper but i forget what it was, maybe that has something to do with it?

try pulling the electrical plug at the MC and seeing if the light stays on. The sensor that detects low fluid levels completes a circuit. It may have been stuck and if the light goes off when the plug is pulled, you'll know
