My GReddy Profec B Spec II turns off whenever I turn my lights on. I've tried wiring it from my stereo and now I have it on ciggarette lighter and it still turns off when I turn on my lights. It'll go off whenever I flip the switch once (before the lights pop up) and will stay off when the lights do pop up and will come back on when I turn them off.

I did the ghetto sleeper by cutting the brown wire. Could that be the problem?

that red wire for your stereo should be a constant 12v source. That should not be switched. What exactly is that brown wire up front?

The brown wire I cut?

Well, in the actual button that pops up the headlights with out the lights being on. I red that if you cut the brown wire you can then get your headlights sleepy by double clicking on the headlight popup button and lowering them slowly. It worked like it was supposed to but that's the only reason I can think that the EBC would turn off when the lights come on.

I didnt have time to rewire it tonight cause I pulled my transmission to fix a throw out bearing. First thing tomarrow I'll rewire it and report back.

Incase anyone ever looks this up with the same problem.

My ground was wired to my cig lighter ground so I took it off, restriped the wire and grounded it to the bolt holding the ebrake. Works now.
