I know everyones gonna say there crap quality but thats not what im gonna ask. What are the fitment issues with them on LHD cars? Please only post if you put one on your car and know exactly what fits tight or doesnt clear.

A LOT of fitment problems. . Had to redrill the bolt holes, change the angle of the collector, change angle of the WG tube. Manifold flange was not flat.

Thanks eh. Thats all i wanted to know. I did run a search and all there was were threads asking about the manifolds and a bunch of hear say about them. Nobody actually posted up what problems they ran into putting them on. I wanted a first hand response instead of some jackhole behind a keyboard giving his "knowledge" aka "opinion". Thanks again Eh. Thats enough to keep me from buying one. Time to just save up for a 6Boost.

I also had boost creep issues on top of it all.

Just to be clear since I have mentioned Stec top mount manifolds not working on a LHD car, they are NOT ebay POS manifolds. Don't confuse what people are saying about ebay junk with Stec stuff.

Also, that not fitting LHD only applies to the top mounts. The Stec sidemounts work just fine. They fit the same as a stock manifold. Again, I don't know if you are talking about those or ebay junk though.

+1 on that. I have a sTec divided T4 flanged manifold I'm fixing to try and use in my rb26Z.

It's multi bolt pattern flange is flat, the tubing is thick stainless, and great quality for the price...

I may have to change the w/g pipe orientation, but that's no drama.

Ive been looking into S Tec. Changing wastegate placement isnt a big deal for me. I just dont wanna get into dealing with bent flanges and s*** like that. Thanks guys for the feedback.

Well, in that case I will personally vouche for the fact you won't have a warped flange or bolt holes that don't line up. I have help Scott (Stec) test fit every since damn one of these thing onto a head that I gave him (P&P accident ) and they all go on smoothly with out a hitch. To give you an idea of the level of care he puts into his stuff, he had a batch that wasn't quite perfect. I can't remember if there was a small bend in the flange or some of the bolt holes didn't line up perfectly or what it was. Anyways, I helped load them up and we drove them to the other side of the island to a machine shop to get fixed before the went out. It was something like 100+ SR manifolds. He didn't make money on that batch, but he didn't send out F'ed up mani's either.

**And on the RB top mounts, the wastegate collector hits the steering column (probably).

They sound like a very good company. I don't have a problem redoing the wastegate some. That's minor stuff. I'll probably pick one of these up after I get situated with nistune so I can upgrade the turbo and fuel.

I really wish Stec made a t3 flanged manifold...instead i got an ebay and braced it/went over any questionable part of it.

We shall see how it holds up.

Why didn't you just weld a T3 flange on the s-tec

The sidemounts are T3. I think I'm going to do a write up on Stec mani's in the near future.
