you did buy ones for th coupe rightebalita wrote:I bought eBay suspension bars for about 50 bucks with shipping. I knew I could not use the upper rear bar.. but found out I could not use the lower rear also. Are the convertible exhaust piping different?
Are you talking about Sway Bar? Did you buy Godspeed package or something?ebalita wrote:but found out I could not use the lower rear also. Are the convertible exhaust piping different?
The "Fits all Sedan" & "Nissan 240sx" should have tipped you off that whoever posted the auction either 1) mass produced these and/or 2) don't know about any real specifics about the 240sx.ebalita wrote:The eBay ad said "For Nissan 240SX S13 89 90 91 92 93 94 ONLY"
"Fits all Sedan, Coupe and Hatch Back Models with different engine spec. "
So I guess convertibles are so different?
Sorry, I don't understand what parts are you referring to. What is this "rear lower bar"? Is it a sway bar since you mention exhaust piping?ebalita wrote:I am curious if any convertible owners have rear upper and rear lower bars from eBay that fit without modification.
This is mine and it's adjustable. I think I paid $16-17 shipped on eBay. Fits perfect. This bar has nothing to do with exhaust piping, so I was confused.DeXteR wrote:It was the silver aluminum semi-flat/elliptical bar that's polished.
Yeah! That's the one I had too and it didn't fit... Mine was too short.94_240sx wrote:

These are threaded, so you can adjust the length of it. Check it again if you haven't thrown away yours. Well, it won't do any good, but at least you can put it on and use it.DeXteR wrote:Yeah! That's the one I had too and it didn't fit... Mine was too short.
I am and was aware of that. I could only get a couple threads engaged on either side and not both at the same time. It was frustrating. I think I was sent the wrong one. This was a couple years ago when we had the white vert.94_240sx wrote:

That's the exact problem I had, could only engage it @ max 1-2 threads. Wouldn't stay connected.DeXteR wrote:

Did they do that crap? I hate companies who do that. Phase2motortrend and NRG did that to me with other parts that wouldn't fit. I had to go through Paypal claim to get my money back. On the other hand, FRSport and 88Rotors gave me refund right away without questions after they saw some pics.onosqv wrote:I let them know, but they refused to do anything about it - stating that it works (hope they've fixed the issue by now).
