i searched and i couldnt find anything, but i have some questions...

does anyone have experience with the ebay box ?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

i want to use it mated with

http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/pr...0.cfm

just one because they can offset the port and i can mount my amp on the side,

http://www2.dealtime.com/xPO-K...X2002

the only reason i would be choosing these components is because its what i have laying around.

just to add a little low end to the system would that be ok ?

thanks,

mike

edit: it would be the single 4 ohm. 10 in.

It would probably be ok. The box is a bit too small for that sub, but I wouldn't think it would cause a huge problem. Adding a bit of fill to the box might help out some. Did you buy the amp or sub yet? If not, how much are you going to spend (if you don't mind me asking)? We might be able to find something better in that price range. I've never been too impressed with MTX subs. Not terrible for a budget system, but we can probably piece something better together. Just a thought...

Right on. The best system is the one that doesn't cost you anything!

I dont know about the products but sonic electronics is always been someone i have been happy to order from. I think there is still a ebay discount going on and sonic electonics has a ebay store.

I think I'd go with the 4 AWG. Not sure about the quality of this particular brand of cables, so I wouldn't risk running the 8 AWG. To be honest, I've never run anything less than 4 AWG in my car (even my first install which was two subs running a total of about 450 watts RMS). Bigger is better (when it comes to audio).
