woah woah calm down dude, first no i dont have a lot of money, it's why im testing this thing out, second i looked and didnt see if anyone has tried it b4 as coeur de lion pointed out he's had it and it's worked for him, i know a lot of people bash anything from ebay. i posted this so those that may not have 220 to afford a B&M short shifter could try this one out instead. no need to bash me for itduffman1278 wrote:It seems like you have money to spend so why do you even own a 240? You don't have to justify why you bought the short shifter, you just wanted to cheap out on it because it was a convincing price.
Next time you want to give your money away, send me an email and i'll send you my paypal address.
This is an expensive hobby, if people expect it to be cheap, than they need to get out and find a different hobby, maybe stamp collecting or something. In a nut shell, you have to pay to play.angrypenguin182 wrote: i posted this so those that may not have 220 to afford a B&M short shifter could try this one out instead. no need to bash me for it
It does not have to be expensive. I purchased a strut brace from rotomip for less than what I would pay for the name brand. Does that mean it is not as good??? Did I cheap out? NO. In fact it is better in my opinion. What about the tension bar from Johnny Fraz. Half the price of the Nismo one. Yet I think it is a better design.Shop wisely, do research, and you can still play without having to pay.If the op wants to research this and try it, I say go for it.duffman1278 wrote:

,tchurch wrote:let me know the results of how it turns out when you get it. i wanna know how the installation is if there are any fitment issues and how it works out. i have a lot of play in my shifter rite now and am looking for a new one. i usually dont buy stuff on egay but if it works out it may b a possibility
Either do that or get a new one from courtesypart.com for $2.05 +s/h. http://www.courtesyparts.com/3....htmlPyR0NiAk wrote:To fix the rattling, swap out the bushing with the one from your original shifter...

I was inspired by your shifter story and since I was doing my clutch anyway, (350z clutch with rb flywheel) I rolled the dice and did the egay shifter. As advertised , one hole did not line up and it had a crappy plastic bushing. After changing the bushing, replacing my shift boot and getting the fancy mitsubishi shift knob, It works great! I cant believe this thing was 30$. It shifts awesome. Did not even drill out the bad hole, just installed it with 5 instead of 6 bolts. The shift knob is tits. Awesome swap.angrypenguin182 wrote:Before anybody yells at me for posting this, I just wanna note I'm doing this for the pure "sport" of it. I just ordered one of those cheapy short shifters from egay

I checked out the feedback people left, and so far no one bashed it, I looked at a different one couple months back but i saw people left negative feedback and said it didnt fit properly. So since it was only 30bucks shipped i decided why not and will test it out. Either way i most likely will end up buying the V2 short shifter from megan racing anyway i just wanna see how this one turns out. after it comes in and i install it i'll post pics and say how it feels and such if any one wants.
any body ever try one of these out before?
