How do you know they aren't legit? If they really aren't, then how do you know the guy honestly thinks they are Nismo and is trying to sell them for what he thinks they are?

He's got pretty good feedback. What backs up your claims?

If he's misrepresenting the item he's selling, you can report him to Ebay. They'll most likely pull the auction.

That's ridiculous. All he did was take out the center caps and put that NISMO sticker on there.

Yeah sucks, but those are some pretty nice looking rims, i dont know about build quality though. But how are they supposed to fit a 240sx if they are 4x100 bolt pattern?

Edit: Ohh they are the ones with both patterns, sry.

There. Now we'll see if anyone does anything about this wanker. I may have accidentally also emailed Ebay about possible fraudulent use of one of their brand names.

Yeah, it was kind of a "No officer, I have no idea how that balloon of coke got in to my colon...someone else must have left it here" kind of answer.

Perhaps I have little faith left in humanity, but I hope Ebay nails him for that. At the very least, after having been "informed" that his items were fakes, he should have taken the auction down voluntarily and listed them appropriately. Instead he gave an answer that was kind of like "well, lots of other people sell fake Nismo stuff on Ebay and the wheels still look nice".

In the meantime, someone is bidding over $1400 for crappy wheels with a sticker. Personally, I hope Ebay cancels the auction and then stuffs hungry rats in to his underwear.

Well, he covered all his bases. ALl he has to do is show proof to ebay if they audit him.

I dopnt know how they would do that, but yeah.

It's one thing to sell no-name parts as a 'Nismo' product and ask a low amount. It's another thing to take one brand and turn it into another. He knows what he's doing.

[sensored]

Dont link him to NICO. Now he could try some kind of legal junk with the people involved in this thread.

1) I was just helping someone to be informed.2) I told him I believe those wheels are fake and gave him a link to here saying that there are others who believe they are also fake. I ended the message saying "what you choose to do with this information is your business"......So in other words it's all opinion.3) No slander against the seller was comitted or anything even mentioning negativity towards him was said by me in the e-mail.

People, I can't believe I was the only one to e-mail him. All I did was inform him on what I believe was fake wheels. Some of you would rather laugh at him getting ripped off and do nothing? If they were those stupid fake Nismo oil caps for like $10.99 I prolly wouldn't say anything, but this is $1400 which is a substantial amount of money. If a Mod tells me I did something wrong towards NICO, then fine I'm sorry. NICO to me has integrity, so I could not let this go without saying something....I'm sure if you were in his position you would want to be well informed....I chose to help the guy, looks like I'm one of few with morals..I geuss the army taught me something after all....Any MODS care to let me know if I did something wrong to NICO or put NICO in a precarious situation? If so please let me know so I don't repeat.

Fine, its sensored.

I dont like this guy falsifying stuff on ebay just as much as you guys, but harassing the seller with warnings is not cool. The proper way to go about this is to report it to ebay and not the seller.

You misunderstood me or I wasn't very clear....I e-mailed the buyer and gave him the thread addy. Not the seller. Makes more sense now?

Actually I meant to say buyer.

In the ebay agreement it is illegal to notify the buyer of anything if you thimk there is something amiss. Heres a reference to a recent problem a friend of mine noticed
