Hey guys, less than 1 week and already my passenger side lens is busted out completely.

I searched around the nico forums and people are pretty much saying the replacement cost is around $160. I found the following on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ories

Has anyone replaced their fogs with these? I don't mind a little extra work, but if these are clearly not going to look right, then I won't bother.

I've requested some pictures to make sure they actually look the same.

Thanks in Advance!

Sounds interesting. They even use a 06' & up M for one of their photos. You should ask them what all was invovled in mounting them in the M's fog light holes and mounts. Instead of cutting your factory wiring to mount them you could just cut off the harness end off of your OE fog lights and splice them onto the aftermarket units wiring. That's a good idea if I do say so myself! Keep us informed on this.

Jesus people, just leave you fogs alone, and OFF unless in FOG, RAIN, or in serious TWISTIES at night.

Fog Nazi, if you actually read my post you'd see that my lens was busted out, not burnt out. So please thread crap elsewhere

Lol, just don't mind Tytamto.... He dislikes fog lights all together really. He will have to agree that our fog lights are not really actual "fog lamps". The O.E. fog lights on our M's would not actually help us in fog or rain. They are more just cosmetic than pure purpose. A different style lamp would probably make them closer to usefull.

I wish I had four fog lights on the front of my M. Then I would go looking for Tytamto and make sure I'm coming at him on a clear perfect night!

"Hi,

Please view the picture in the middle of the auction. It has side profile picture of the lenses. We have sold many kits to customers with your same vehicle, and 99% of our customers are very pleased with the fit and superior performance of our lamps. Our lamps are much higher quality than any of our competitor's lamps, and that is why we are the only ones that are capable of showing such detailed photos and descriptions of our products in our auctions. If you are unhappy with the fog lamps for whatever reason, you are always allowed to return them for a refund as long as they are in brand new condition. Please let us know if you have any additional questions that we can help answer. I hope this helps, and thank you for looking at our auctions!! "

After looking at their website, I would tell you these are absolute garbage, and not worth more than $25-30 tops. Beam pattern is horrible for a fog lamp.

For quality fogs, look to reputable brands like Cibie,Hella, or some of the Piaa lamps- but dont expect any of these to be a drop in fit without alot of work.Easiest to just get the OEM part from Infiniti.

You guys crack me up...

And in regards to thread crapping, I'll do 2girls1cup in here if I have to!

Why not just buy a replacement lens or the entire assembly off of eBay? You can find them on there for not much over $50. OEM baby!
