Anyone have experience with this piece?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItemI mean if my ebay fmic is holding up fine and doing its job it seems a radiator would do the same no?

Also would a single 14" fan be sufficient in keeping the car cool? It gets pretty hot here in the summer 100+ degrees.

they are pretty good, friend has been running one for some time now with no problems. As for the fan it all depends on how many cc of air it flows.

I have one just like it. Paid a lil more, but it's worked fine for me.

ok and cheap intercooler and cheap radiator are totally differnt.. and intercooler is pretty hard to fuk up.. a radiator now.. if the passages are not correct and the flow isnt right it can cause major cooling issues.. also unless you get a real electric setup i wouldnt suggest useing a electric when the clutch fan is just plain and simply optimal. you really dont see that much gain hp and response wise to risk you engine with a cheap electric fan.. as far as a radiator goes..the shop i worked at had als lot of problems with cheap radiators and even with some decent ones.. save your money buy a koyo or a griffin even better. for electric fans i reccomend the flex-a-lite dual setup for the s13 and s14 it attaches to the stock mounts for the shroud. and has a shroud with the fans. just mounting a single setup in the middle of the radiator only cools 60% or less of the coolant as it flows. do yourself a favor get a shrouded one or just stick with stock. its your money in that motor protect it.

I plan on using a dual fan setuphttp://www.frsport.com/Flex_A_....htmlbetter safe than sorry...I'm using rods rated for 700hp for my 300hp build. Nothing sucks worse than your car having to come off the road because of something stupid that you could have invested another $100 and not have to worry about it

I've seen plenty of those running around... They work fine. If you have a thermostatically controlled fan, a GOOD single fan will suffice. There are plenty out there with a nice shroud and built in thermostat if desired.

Why don't ya buy one and try it out and report back in 6 months. As far as the fan the FAL is nice but at over $200 you could do just as well with the Altima fan. Could be mistaken but I believe popular consensus is that removing the clutch fan and using an electric fan is better.

i got one generic aluminum radiator ebay 120 bucks.. perfect fitment works perfect.. I mean, why would you waste $ on a koyo? A radiator isn't that hard to manufacture so what makes koyo's so special? The name I guess. But just for you guys' information, ebay aluminum radiators work fine. at least the one I have.

Your paying for the koyo name and about another 1" of thickness. Which is kind of over kill unless you are doing some serious driving.
