Yes, I have. No problems at all, I think I got a cheap steering wheel and something else from him. At least 2 trouble-free transactions.

Coincidentally, I am eating a taco for lunch as I type ha ha ha.....

Thanks for the reply.
I got this car back in 04 with 62K miles on it and I have 79K on it now. It just sits in the garage as a third car or weekend rides. I just wanted a deeper sounding exhaust at an inexpensive price and wanted to now for the amount, is his products worth the money.

Its just an exhaust, there isnt much to welding steel piping to a flange and muffler.

as with anything else, you get what you pay for.... but with such basic (non-mechanical) parts, you will be fine

just dont expect top of the line quality when paying a "im a cheap a**" price....

You have disabled your pm's or have not met the 10 post minimum, but here is what I said. Its a little blunt but its true...
I had a 3" catback with a 4" tip with a resonator that I bought with my 240. It was pulled over by police regularly kind of loud. I got so many tickets for it being illegal but I think it was really just the size of it. Anything other than idle was horribly loud inside and outside the car and it was sort of embarrassing for me. I would recommend a 2.5" catback piping with nothing larger than a 3" tip. If you ask me anything larger, especially on an NA motor, is rice. A 4.5" tip is a monster rice size and stupid loud.

I guess it kind of depends on cops where you live. It looks like it comes with a silencer so that should help your case but it will constantly sound like a baby powdered fart. Any kind of aftermarket exhaust in Northern VA is illegal and they didnt hesitate to pull me over for it. There are much better ones to choose from. I think there is a sticky in the 240 section about exhaust.

If you're going for the look and the sound, then I'd say go for it. Seller has 50,000 reviews and over 98% positive rating. Sounds pretty legit to me. Don't know how long that exhaust will hold up though. As far as that thing that's trying to pass for an intake, just pass on it. If anything the filter material will be garbage and you'll most likely be losing a few horsepower too.

That has nothing to do with the OP..

You live in VA, he lives in FL. I dont see how your experiences and local laws should inflict any impact on his decision to buy something for his personal car. :poke:

This is because VA sucks at everything.

OP, My HKS hi-power has 3" piping and a 4.5" tip (it might be 4 inch, I'm not completely sure), point being, the tip is not going to make it loud or quiet, the pipe sizing and muffler design plays a bigger role in that. My exhaust is "typical" loud I guess you can say. Its definitely not as loud as straight pipes, but its definitely not as quiet as a BRM exhaust. I like it, if you're driving chill its not really annoying, I can hold a conversation or listen to music just fine inside the car (and I don't have a metal roof like you guys ;) ). However, my exhaust does have a resonator, so that will make a bit of a difference in sound since the EBAY ones usually dont have resonators built in. But, go for it, make sure you use a catalytic converter, and it should be just fine.

Here is a picture of my exhaust, call it rice or whatever, its grown on me. When it comes down to it, you own your car, so you do what YOU want to it.

^^^The op pm'd me and asked. Ive never been to FL so I dont know how it is down there. I was just saying it depends on how cops are and if they will pull you for petty stuff. Even state police pulled my friend on the highway for exhaust and his was only slightly bigger and louder than stock.

Krash, that was about the size on my 240. I wish I had a pic. Mine was also a Megan Racing btw. IMO, it was annoyingly loud and I had to turn up my radio alot more because of it, even though at times I liked it in being noticed. But, overall I wish I it was a bit quieter especially late at night.

I live in FL and I have an upgraded header with a cat delete and 3in piping to like 6in muffler with a 4 in tip it seems like bc I've never measured it plus 2 tens in my hatch I have never been pulled over for my exhaust being too loud even when I launched at a stop light the other night.
