those cams are a good brand.....

I can't see why the crank pulley would be bad..... any defects that could be accounted for in manufacturing would probably happen in a name brand one as well.....

ahh the headers... get em

I bought mine eveh cheaper, 110 bucks shipped.... they are of nice quality, stainless steel, nice flanges... nice TIG welds..... these look better then many, many name brand headers I've seen for other cars......

the naysayers will just say otherwise cause they are stuck on stupid cause they love another car that has all these parts and they want to copy it.. so only those could possibly be the best parts.... how wrong are they.......

get them and find out... damn near everything is made in china now

think chinese weld any differently then Japanese? lol

No, are you serious? What kind of a post is that?

I have one of those crank pulleys, they are machined nicely. Solid piece of CNCd aluminum. My only gripe, i had to take a small file and remove some of the aluminum to get the thing to fit on my crank. Theres a little tab on the crank itself that the crank pulley has to fit over, and it was a TINY bit to big to fit on the pulley. Id rather it be to tight than to loose though...

Machined nicely in what way...? You just said you had to hack it up to fit.

Those cams are not an eBay part per se.

Knock-off Greddy manifolds and Greddy oil pans are "eBay" parts.

Many have had good luck with those OBX headers.

As a general rule of thumb, stay away, and purchase a second hand name-brand part if you can't afford new parts. It'll be almost guaranteed to fit and perform as it should.

Machined nicely as in it was CNCed perfect. Hack it up? I had to take a mini file and spend 30 seconds filing a tiny bit of aluminum away to get it to fit. Again, id rather have it to tight than to loose. Id trust a SOLID piece of CNCed alum over a set of headers that have been welded by a simi pro any day.

I mean really though, whats going to happen to a solid piece of alum?

let me enlighten you in a story... i have a s13 with sr20 swap. im doing the right thing. greddy dump, down pipe...name brand parts that live up to their name.. mean while my brother has s14 doing sr20 swap. **** greddy and stuff, ima get ebay dump and down. same stuff just stainless steal. i said do what you want...my car is about to run but i dont have a test pipe. he got one off ebay. i said wtf, its just a test pipe. so i put it on, attach the hks hi power. start it up take it around to local pep boys. come back " wtf i have an exhaust leak. thought maybe the studs backed out. so left it til the morning. jack the car up. the flanges on the EBAY test pipe SHATTERED!!! just saying, ME personally i wouldnt reccomend ebay parts with a $8000.00 setup like me. save the money and get parts that have a name for what they do =]

good story,

my 30 dollar ebay test pipe works fine!

the gaskest are a POS tho

I could see how it would mess up, the flanges on mine look like cheap cast material while the piping is stainless.... maybe u tightened down on it too hard or torqued down unevenely and put a crack in it... go to rev the motor up and snap!

Buying EBAY parts can sometimes be a gamble. You have to know what you are purchasing and weither it is authentic or not. Sometimes it may not be but it all depends on the level of risk you are willing to accept.

Also it depends on your DIY skills. There are dozens of things I've bought from ebay....

Strut Bars, Oil Cap, Brake Rotors, Accessories, Aero. Also out of those I would say half were not direct bolt on and required me to aquire different hardware (bolts, nuts, gaskets, ect) along with some drilling/filing/metal working to make them fit. I have a very high skill with this so buying super cheap and making it work is what tuning is all about.

So like I said, search and be cautious of what you get. If you see a "brand name" part on sale for super cheap try and verify by the picture that it's the real thing ect ect. Don't get butt hurt when you get duped because you didn't do the re-search. Most buyers will refund you and or replace the defective part. I've returned many things before.

Happy Bidding, Buy Victoriously!!
