looking into a new o2 housing and ebay has some nice looking divorced ones for ~75 shipped but ive heard shady things about ebay parts (i wouldnt get the ss autochrome one). has anyone had luck with these? the best other thing I found was a megan racing non-divorced o2 housing for 115+ shipping. any input on these ebay o2 housings?

No replies because nobody has had any good luck from the ebay brands.Don't bother. Pay more for the megan racing o2 for quality alone.

Exactly... Nice LOOKING. Not well flowing or made from decent materials though.

What I didnt even realize at the time was that it's 2.5" out instead of 2.75"+ like everyone elses and that the O2 sensor is realllly in the way of the exhaust gasses leaving the turbine. That + the pipe is essentially welded to the flange at a 75° angle = turbulence. about the only advantage over stock is that it's lighter. My GReedy dump is even lighter still though.

The Megan Racing dump ive heard has good fitment and megan typically ships stuff with decent hardware. only down side i can see is it isnt internally divided. Not like the OEM one is (its even less efficient), but for a little more you might be able to find a used Trust/Greddy that's internally seperated to get rid of any turbulence when the wastegate opens.

Oh but please stay away from their downpipes, damn thing wont even match up to their own exhaust and sticks out at a 45 degree angle from the car cause the flange to their dump is way off on the downpipe.

im also running the ssautocrap 02 housing or dump pipe whatever you want to call it, and the only problem i had was that i had to fabricate a bracket for the downpipe to reach the transmission mount bracketcause it was off about 1 inch short. but that was pretty easy, other than that i have no problems , oh and if you have the skinny 02 sensor like i do u know you have to get the fat one because the skinny one wont fit

so wait. You have an SSAutochrome O2 housing elbow, and it made your downpipe not fit correctly? I assume then you had to fidget a good amount with the rest of the exhaust system to get it to fit to the improperly located downpipe?

i have ssautochrome manifold and o2 housing with OBX exhaust and it all fits fine asides from beating the o2 housing to increase the clearance between it and my steering column.

like I said before it was only 1 inch off, so that wasnt a big problem to fix because the exhaust hangers arent solid hangers

My Megan o2 housing had great fit and no problems yet. If you use the skinny o2 sensor you will be buying a thick o2 because all the ones I have seen are for the thicker o2s.
