An interesting turbo and manifold on ebay. The turbo blades look beat but the manifold is interesting. That wastegate is -way- divorced...

Blades look fine to me. Just used. Mani is nice though. Worth the $450 IMHO.

Yeah tig welded, close to EL... my only concern would be the turbo placement. Thats a big guy and looks like it would hit the brake and clutch master or as least heat the hell out of em. Email the guy first and ask what car it was pulled from.

Thats the manifold I have, not the turbo though. But, I think a td06 is a bit much for a CA (unless built). Had to use spacers on the mounts so it wouldnt touch the steering shaft.

(Clearify) my friends mechenic used spacers so the both mounts would line up and It wouldnt touch the steering shaft. I was having a bit of trouble at getting both mounts to line up as I stated in post a while back but he got it on and away from the the steering shaft. Ill try and take some pics as soon as he is done making and fitting the piping.

Havent seen the car since it was towed to his shop, so I dont know how it looks or what the spacers look like. Though he said he used spacers on the driver side (mount if I remember correctly). I dont think he was talking about an adapter. I dont have a day off until like thursday and thats when Ill be paying him and retrieving my car, then I will post pics of everything and( god willing) she will drive smoothe and without a problem.

Saw the car and he said he used washers under the drivers side mount to rais it up some so it wouldnt hit the steering shaft, but brake and clutch master all clear but heat will be an issue as nab stated so im gonna rig'up some sort of heat shield and also wrap them. Did anyone on here get that turbo and mani?

Swaincoat that thing!

www.swaintech.com

Relatively cheap and supposedly cuts external temps in half. Good for spool as well since it keeps the heat inside. I'm having my manifold and the turbo's exhaust side housing done once I've ported and semi-polished the manifold (hopefully by next weekend).

Swaincoating won't have a feasible effect on stainless steel, because in its natural state it acts like a coated mild steel. Basically you'll be wasting your money coating Stainless Steel.

Thanks redamnavit that might be the way to go seems like it could work, but for now as i'm kinda broke I'll have to wait on that. Good luck on the porting and polishing, my friend was doing his own mani on his turbo crx and ruined it. He was kind of obsessed and kept going over it trying to make everything perfect.

*edit*

Thanks for the input Xtreme, I guess I'll go with the heat shield and wrap.

I wasn't aware the swain coating would have such a dimished or irrelevant effect on stainless; sorry about that. As for the mani, I picked up a spare to try the port/polish on for $25, so I'm not too worried about it.

Redamnavit thanks for the suggestion anyway. My friend should have done that as well instead of destroying a perfectly good mani.
