I can tell you from experience, that this ECU in it's stock form REALLY wakes the CA18DET up. It was amazing how much more power the car had.

BUT the handheld commander is worthless for anything but changing MAFS and injectors.

If you get the fc-datalogit that changes everything and this makes for a VERY competent standalone system.

keep in mind though the hand commander was never intended for tuning, but more for monitoring all underhood sensors, and displaying them in realtime.

The hand commander also doubles as a water temperature gauge, knock monitor, battery voltage gauge, boost gauge.

It makes troubleshooting things like bad maf/tps sensors easy as well. If the sensor is out of range or the circuit is faulty, it highlights a circle next to that sensors abreviation. frigging - awsome.

Is it likely that it has a different tune than what it originally came with? What i mean is could i just plug this in and use it without tuning? Whats the datalogit like?

I'll buy it and just put it on my credit card. It wouldnt be the first time nor the last.

Interesting....wonder if it was a scammer or just a guy selling it on multiple auction sites (then cancelling it from the other if it sells).

Oh, the 0 feedback is a bit scary for something with that price.
