ebay intercoolers

was the quailty any good?? which one did you pick the 27x10/x3 or the 25x8x3?? thanks

I just bought one from this guy last week. I bought the 25/8/3 intercooler for $340, because I think it will fit best in the front of the car. I haven't received it yet, but it should get here in a few days. I'll let you know when it comes in. Might even take some pictures.

It seems to be a steal for a bar and plate spearco core intercooler at that price. Also, the guy has practically perfect feedback.

Please do let us know what you think of this intercooler. Is it a TRUE Spearco with endtanks? I think a guy could save a lot of money buying one of these cores, and buy the mandrel bent pipes this guy also sells.

I bought one of those. It seems that the guy bought a huge sheet of Spearco core (yes, it's bar and plate) and chopped it into a couple different sizes. The core is usually 20" wide, plus endtanks. The welding isn't perfect beads, but it's very good nonetheless. When I got it, there were like 3 bent cores, and the word "Spearco" is spraypaint over a stencil. It is a very nice intercooler, and well worth the $349 or whatever I paid. Check his feedback, I'm there.I'd also take pics, but the IC is 2 hours away from me. If I remember, I'll have some this Sunday.-Jeff

Here it is, I received my intercooler a couple of days ago. It is a great deal for only $340. It is a Spearco core, bar and plate intercooler with endtanks with 2.5" inlets. The quality of the endtanks and welding is good, but not exceptional. I don't think it can be beat for the price.
