No no no no no.
What I'm saying "should" be logical.
These intercoolers have little research into them, are usually "based" off better intercoolers, but you know what happens when you make a copy of something - it's not quite as good as the original... then there are ones that make copies of copies, etc.
The quality of these are not consistent.
An example:
ebay t3/t4 turbos (ssac/xs power/zy turbo for example) - most ppl who install these have them last about 2 weeks before something breaks/smokes... some ppl have really good luck with them.
What is the difference between no-name and brand name? That's a general question you should know yourself - it's not limited to just car parts.
Sometimes you just pay for the name, sometimes it's the research/quality/dependability/etc.
If you don't see the difference, go for it, it's your car. Just don't blame anyone when you get a big fat boost leak or a piece of the inside of the intercooler falls apart and ends up in your engine melting and blocking an oil passage and blows up your engine.
most of the time, when ppl have to ask "is this scam?" - it ends up being one.
most of the time, when ppl ask "is this ebay intercooler/turbo/etc xxxxx?" - guess what it usually ends up being.
