wow these look really good, especially for the price. the stats on them (like a 2% pressure loss) make them really tempting to buy.

so what all else would i need? bov and a flange right?

all I am saying is that they look like a great alternative to finding a smic and piping. its hard to do.

what are your thoughts on this?

The price looks really good but for that size intercooler... I dunno i think it must just be one of the cheap ebay IC's but i havent heard many people complain about them so I don't know... Maybe there are some people here who have already purchased a similar core from ebay or something...

its pretty hard to mess up some pipes. i'm sure the quality is fine but that ic is really really big....... to big if you ask me, you would notice alot of lag esp. if you are using the stock turbo.

THAT IS the hot pipe... That pipe connects into the stock rubber corner comming up from the stock turbo since those kits are made for stock engines. The small pipe welded onto the side is for a BOV... however u gonna put it then it goes down through the hole in the engine bay and connects to that pipe that goes from small to large. That goes into the intercooler and then the other 2 large pipes comes out of the intercooler then goes into the intake manifold...

I circled the 4 pipes included in the mounted picture and display pic. the numbers corespond to the numbers on the one with the kit mounted on an S13

yeah my setup isnt coming with any smic or piping so I am getting this. I will probably get an enjuku hotpipe and ssqv bov. this is gonna be neeeeeat.

i hope that the enjuku one fits this piping... it should right seeing as how the hotpipe doesnt change sizes and the intake manifold is the same...

Any chance of an above view shot of that engine bay? I bought the Hybrid kit and installed it with no directions and I ended up using the stock hotpipe with one of the stock 45 degree angle coupling. I'd like to see how that hotpipe made it from the 90 degree angle coupling to the bottom hotpipe. You can e-mail the pics to me at [email protected] if you'd like.

I just put one of those IC's on my car. also bought from ebay. first I had another one from ebay but a bit smaller. when I put this one on I had like 4 psi more boost. so the first one that I got from ebay (smaller one) had alot pressure drop. was running 14 psi and after the change 18 psi. so I guess this IC is working just great. and I got this IC for $160. Good bang for the buck. has for lag.... ain't that much ofa difference. BTW I have a GT2871R turbo...........

I have the Hybrid one on my S14 with a S14 SR. I can take some pics. Filiment is great. I still need to finish the wiring to get the car to start. The only bad thing about the hybrid kit is there was no place for a bov flange. So I guess I will have to buy an aluminum flange and have to have it welded on by a friend. Also I fit a small battery in the battery tray but I has to turn it sideways from how it would usually would sit. The word Hybrid isn't spray painted on the front of it. It is in raised lettering on the top of the intercooler, like a 3D look.

I bought my FMIC kit from godspeed on ebay. The fitment is great. I had to replace one of the silicone hoses. I felt it was too big so I bought a smaller one. I had to pick up some new clamps as well. Some of the ones in the kit where a tad small. I used most of them though. I felt the kit was a great deal. I was running stock s14 piping with a s13 intercooler before the fmic. After installing the kit my boost increased 1psi and now doesn't fall off when in higher gears. I was worried about the throttle response being poor with the FM. To my surprise this didn't occur.
