Theres lots of cheap *** intakes on ebay for like $8 with adapter and im wondering if these are pure crap or someone has ordered them and they have been as good as any other cone intake mod.

I got a cheap cone filter off eBay on my car right now, and it feels a little nicer than stock. Sounds better too.

just buy a mafs adapter and put a K&N or Cool Blue on the end

I've got the K&N FIPK (filter and adaptor plate plus mounting hardware), and there is a difference in the more expensive brands. The JWT, the K&N FIPK, and other higher priced ones have the adaptor that has a tapered inlet into the intake tube so they flow better since the moving air is smoothed out as it enters the intake.

The cheap stuff on ebay usually have a 3" tube and is not tapered to funnel air in. There is usually a big difference in the prices between the expensive and the knockoffs, so it's all up to your budget restrictions.

i have a question...if i have a 89 sohc and were to buy a 95-98 dohc cold air intake system..would my maf fit the parts for the cai? i already bid on the system so hoping i can use..let me know

good thing about injen and aem intakes is that they come with carb sticker (you will need proof of purchase).
