ok well i have had the "Free" WAI in my car for a while.....i now wanna up grade without spending much money

So here is what im lookin at.....Let me know about personal experiences and stuff like that.....thanks!

yea it would work..i would just suggest that you upgrade the filter itself..to AEM, injen,k&n or something of that sort and you should be fine..Ive used a few ebay C.A.I and just changed the filters in my time with good results...

thanks.......do u suggest changing the filters because they r oiled and it could ruin the MAF or just ur suggestion?

Typically the K&N filters flow better than the crap they give you with those kits. I'm not saying K&N makes a good filter by any means, but at least it is a step up from the one supplied with the generic intake kits.

Honestly I plan on sticking with the stock intake because it is factory cold air and I don't have to worry about driving through a puddle. I'd suggest you find out where that filter sits and see if you can put a release valve in just incase so you don't hydrolock your motor in a heavy rainstorm. See if Stillen makes one. Remember that you get what you pay for. Yeah it looks like just a pipe but there are certain flow characteristics that certain bends will give you. It all comes down to dyno testing, and I'm nearly 100% certain that xyzracing does not have a dyno.
