i think you need projectors for the projector bulbs to work right. lightsout has a nice pair of headlights but i don't think he got'em off ebay. ebay lights usually have a messed up beam pattern and are crappy when driving at night. reflector headlights are nice because they're cheap and spread the beam well on the road. why don't you like stock? just get an hid kit and keep your stock lights.

Post some pictures of your current headlights. I want to see the haze. Have you tried a plastic cleaner?

it's plastic - will always haze. at least oem has better quality plastic lens, ebay headlights are crap. did you spray clear laquer/sealant after sanding? usually helps. when you just sand it makes tiny scratches that fill in with dirt.

i used my wife's clear nail polish for my corolla headlights...worked great it takes more than a single sand and clear coat though. i used 3 diferent grades of paper going so fine it felt almost like regular paper for the last run, cleaned them with a degreaser in between to get all the dirt out and last was clean with distilled water - no minerals or other "contaminants", let dry and cover with clear polish. all done in the shade and buffed when clear dried...took me a day but lasted through the winter.
