I wouldnt go for that. No where does he state the brand of turbo or anything. No close ups of turbo where u can read it clearly. I would go with the HKS since he seems to be offering some cheap brands that you can never be too sure about.

lol I have never heard of any turbo company called XSpower. So many people on ebay trying to sell cheap stuff for brand name prices to rip everyone off. Always have to keep an eye out. The GT-RS would be a much better deal and i am sure u will be happy. Most people would go for the cheap product one just because it advertises as a top mount manifold and most people seem into it even though i see no advantage. It seems a top mount would just add more heat into an engine bay instead of putting it closer to the ground.

That is some good thinking... and even if that whole set up was cheaper than the HKS kit... that manifold prolly would have been a piece! I'm just going to stick with the stock manifold and bolt that mutha trucka on there!

lol that is the top way to do it for sure. How much extra boost and CFM u planning on running with a bigger turbo? It might be wise to upgrade ur IC piping to accomodate for the larger turbo. Alot of peopel dont realise that by making the shortest clearest IC piping it will actually cause less restrictions, lag and boost lost. Upgrading my piping and intercooler from 2 inch to 2 and a half inch with a spearco intercooler inlet outlet on same side raised my boost by 3 psi even with the CFM increase and shortened my IC piping by nearly 4 feet. It increased boost from 11psi to 14psi without any boost controller changes and now i get full boost at 3000rpm instead of 4500rpm like before.

not sure how much boost i'd like to be pushing... I plan on installing the new turbo kit... an apexi power FC/powerfc boost controller, 555cc injectors, (possibly oil cooler) and towing the car down to balanced performance in georgia to have it tuned by ED from dynotuner.com I've heard some good things around here lately about this guyI am just wondering if it would be a good idea to get an adjustable exhaust cam gear as well

definitely a bad idea.... stay away from that at all costs. google around and you will find tons of ppl's complaints/broken pics about ssautochrome, xs-power, stone mountain racing. (those are all the same company btw). a manifold may be ok because it can be repaired and strengthened, but definitely not a turbo. i have seen pics of their turbo housing split clean down the middle.

yea, they have some good things, but as far as turbos go, most people that ive seen who have bought from them say that the turbo has blown within 300 miles of driving or blown at startup

the turbo is acutally made by "XS Power". it's a new emerging cheap turbo maker. stay away from the turbo.

don't go cheap on the key component. buy garrett, turbonetics, precision, inovative, master power--are good turbo.

as far as flanges, 3-pipes, gaskets.....is fine

the wastegates have proven to be as reliable as the real Tial's.

blow off valve --don't touch it.

XS power turbos are good for Neon's and Cavaliers wanting to turbo, but not a nice RB in a Nissan. They're cheap and won't last as long as a good turbo and don't have good warrantys.

lol i got them i got them!!

Anyway lmao the guy is not sure whether the housing cracked and put pressure on the compressor folding the outer edges of the fins and killing hte bearings or if the bearings wore out and caused more than an 1/8 of an inch of play which caused the turbo to rub against the housing and crack it. He doesnt know what happened all he knows is that the turbo is a POS!

Always gives a great laugh. People find new ways to break stuff everyday!
