Okay, so i have about a 600 bucks or so to put towards my car. I am planning on going KAT next spring, so would it be better to buy a good catback from a sponsor or to buy this megan racing header back from ebay. I hate rice-sounding cars, so any reviews would hel[. i searched, but some say its rice, others say deep base. idk

Well, a catback will show negligable HP gains when you go turbo. A turboback, on the other hand, will show considerable gains, especially if you run catless.

From what I've been able to gather, Megan Racing products seem to be of surprisingly high quality. I'm a total JDM whore, and yet if I were currently in the market for coilovers, I'd probably get the Megans.

Just make sure whatever exhaust you get is full stainless, the whole thing (or titanium, I guess). You don't want it rusting off.

Nico's own product, kill two birds with one stone, get an awesome sounding exhaust, and supprt the group that supports all of us... my 2 cents..thats what i will be getting coz it looks and sounds cool, just by reading about it and wathcing and listening to the videos posted here on nico

i agree also that the tip seems to be too long.... (VSJA1725)

You can buy an HKS or RSR muffler and just do custom pipeing. Buy a header and an intake too. You can get it all for less than 500 bucks and it will sound nice. And if you are going turbo anytime soon, 3 inch is good. Its fine for NA KA's anyway, and you won't have to change it when you go turbo.

I run a 3" BRM w/ Resonator in my S14 with only an AEM intake, and I didn't notice any loss in power. It looks SWEET and sounds awesome!

3" should almost be a given for turbo cars though IMO.

Hit up Greg he'll give you a killer deal, and the quality is at least as good as the other sponsors.

hmmmm not a bad price for all of that. Imagine if greg made headers and downpipe also? A complete BRM system for about 750-800. Also develop an Intake manifold and CAI.

That would be sweet.

if youre planning to get a turbo, dont bother with header and intake, youll just be getting rid of it anyway
