Yeah I've seen it but made my own. Fit's perfectly and is rocking 2 Infinity Kappa 10.1 Perfects SVCs. Total cost of the project was under $50.00!

from the looks of it. It looks like that box sits on top of the back seat. If that box is as deep as it looks, and fits behind the stock 6x9's you would haft to lay the back seats down and put the box on top of them. Our trunks arnt that big and the 6x9's sit right infront of the back seat.

I say nay... but im not willing to bet on it...

It says the mounting depth is 8 inches... Judging by the pics, id say that the rear end of the enclosure is on a slant, to match the "reverse" side of the back of the seats.

In that pic i think its visible to see that the back is on a / slope to accommodate the seat!

Sorry to tell you, but type x's wont fit. That box a has a 8" mounting depth the type x is 8.6". Plus there isnt enough room in that box to give it optimal sound

Check the specs on the type xhttp://support.alpine-usa.com/...D.PDF

The type R's should do alot better in that box, plus save you a little cash. The type R's are still great subs

thats what i was worried about with the back seats, but after seeing the closer pic, i think that the seats are up with only the 8" depth.

I had that box in my 02 Mustang GT (well, the one made for the Stang) and it fit like crap...

The Altima one looks good in the pics, but then again so did the Mustang one I bought.

Hey, I actually have one of these. I haven't had a chance to finish hooking up subs to it since I now have to move my sub from being mounted on the back of my rear seat for this thing to sit flush.

The guy who makes these has his shop like an hour from my house so I went down to pick it up. It's just him and his wife and all he does is make these enclosures. He actually is on NICO from what he was telling me, but is more prevalent in the G35 forums since he owns one.

Anyway, it is pretty much a perfect fit (I still have to move the amp for it to be completely flush. But other then that, it's very high quality.

Point being, I'd recommend this box, and the guy that makes them is great, so if you have any questions, give him a call, his number is on the ebay page.

The R's are great subs..I had two 12's in my old honda accord, with enough juice they really pound, great deal for the 200ea I think it was that I paid for them..Plus I bought them at best buy and got the warranty so incase you happen to blow them, the store replaces them, I had them in a vented enclosure though, but I cant find the specs, unfortunately that box is too big for the coupe, I'm gonna have to wait till I can find a nice custom box that will fit them

yeah they really are and im getting mine for cheap so the total for the 2 10's will be about 230 so for the quality its an amazing deal.. i just wish we had more options for boxes so i can fit 2 12's without a custom box

Yeah I feel the same way..Im probably going to have to settle with putting one 12 in there because of space, but I'm sure it will be more then enough...Like I said they are amazing subs, and 230 for two 10s is a great price..like I said just make sure you give them the power they deserve and you'll be happy...

Brian you been slackin, this threads been up for awhile now. lol

Good choice with the type r's. What are you going to be powering them with, and where do you plan on mounting the amp

i got a alpine m1000, it should be fine with that(the pdx's are too expensive haha) i'm not sure where the amp is gunna be mounted cus i dont know if there will be any space between the back of the box and the back of the rear seats(thats where i installed my amp on my old car)..if there isn't enough space i might do two racks one on the left of the box against the side of the trunk with the amp and another on the right with a cap, i think it would look pretty good.

That amp should do well since the type r's are only 500 wats rms. I don't think you will be able to mount the amp behing the box, just not enough room. I am not really sure on how big that amp is. But you might be able to mount it up top in between the 6x9's. with a little ghetto rigging of course. lol That would save you some space. But I have never mounted an amp upside down, so I don't know how good that is for the amp. maybe apple or rob would know. If not there, then I would do what you where thinking on the side. But with that little wattage, you don't need a cap. If you allready have it from a previous install then great. But if not, don't waste the money.

i was thinking about only doing on sub as well. thanks for the pic. it looks real clean with the amp over the other sub opening. but does that affect the sound quality if it doesnt seal the hole for the second sub? or, did you seal it somehow?

ive been talking to the guy and he said that i could get it with one opening and the other one carpeted over and port it into the car.... my 10 calls for almost exactly what the total empty cabnet would give me when its ported...

Its just one hole thats offset so i could mount the amp on the other side. and as the sound goes, it hits really good and clean. the guy on ebay can do the internal volume up to 1.24 cu ft i believe if you only get one sub.
