anyone tried this out yet...have any noticeable differences like they're claiming?

Ishihara-Johnson crank scrapers...they're on ebay. either that or google it..I'm just wondering since I've had to deal with my main stud problem...since the **** is off...maybe I should buy this ? no? seems well engineered.

You won't notice that large of a gain on an SR, or most modern engines for that matter. You might gain 1-2whp on the top end.

The benefit to an SR is the scrappers ability to remove oil from the windage cloud at high RPM which keeps it in the pan, and with a puny 3.8 qt. capacity anything can help.

so would you buy the setup...do YOU think it's worth it. Basically this is my "do everything" the first time motor...I don't plan on having to do much to this after running...and I'm running Motul 300V 15w50 in it after the 5w30 break in. Gonna try and be another plus 600 hp motor...It's built for it...mainly the tuning is going to be the key factor....that and any little thing that can help "protect" the motor.

I would invest the money in a better designed oil pan.

ok already have that...a true greddy not that it matters that much but still I have done all upgrades...minus this "possible" one...so would you do it was the question again. I've been working on Nissans too for quite awhile granted maybe not as long as some but I have more than adequate knowledge...I'm just asking for an opinion.

I don't really see a need in it unless you are exceeding factory rev limits by a good amount.

Look, I have no idea what you consider a "Do Everything" motor. It could rev out to 8500, or if it's inline with what I would see in a "Do Everything" motor it would be just a hair short of 11000 and it would be dry-sumped. If you want good advice then why don't you start by giving me some freakin clue as to what the hell you are working with, and/or wanting.

I'm wanting the best protection. Within reason. And basically all I was asking is if you think this was a good investment. As in I can't afford to build another one of these anytime soon...maybe a sleeved 90mm block would be attainable if I blew it up...but I plan on abusing the @$#* out of this motor. It's built to be abused (drifting) not really going to be draggin' it...and yes the head is built too...don't know what the redline will be...but I don't think it'll be 11k...that's a little steep...but I don't really know again...I've got BLE solid lifters in it...but still 11k seems more like dual valvespring range.
