could you give a reason behind saying its a waste of money? like maybe the fitment or something to that nature because any pipe is going to do the same thing reguardless of the name and thats allow air flow. i already said i wouldnt use the air filter that comes with it so any argument about that would be a mute point.ben g wrote:thats a definite waste of 10o bucks save up and buy the real thing or if you really cant afford it go used
There are reason why people pay good money for a product they will not have to worry about.gnvarnadore wrote:yeah the fact that its cai is my only reason for thinking about it and i wouldnt trust no ebay air filter at all so that would just hit the trash can right away. price wise it beats getting an injen short ram and cold air extension.
come on pat everyone is looking for a good deal. like the one you gave me on that carbon fiber hood and those rims from your old blue hatch.Black on Gold wrote:C'mon Greg.
Keep the intake you have no, take off the box and put a K&N on. Call it a day
does that s*** even work? or is it another scam? just like the TURBONATOR!!AZ89two4Tsx wrote:Make sure you get a Tornado too, or all your money spent on that nice intake will be useless.
It works exactly as advertised.hazer396 wrote:does that s*** even work? or is it another scam? just like the TURBONATOR!!
Exactly.OutToWinPAHC wrote:Its metal tubing, filter and couplers.... not a stressed component. If you feeling like wasting money on a intake in general sure go for it. But your only going to able to suck in as much air as the throttle plate and engine vacuum allow.
You tell him to go N62 without the mention of tune, then say compressor, then go back to carb okay intakes. Your all over the place man, slow down.ReDsT@R DRiFt@R wrote:Change the mass air flow to a 300zx I've heard that makes a big difference. Heard mixed reveiws about the tornado thing. Or just go turbo and then you can just use a small pipe to compressor side inlet. If your all about a budget go ebay kit or name brand parts. I live in California so I'm gonna have to get CARB exempt kits from either AEM or Ingen. There may be others but they run bout $280 or more.
