Alright, so long story short I picked up a CA18 240sx not too long ago. Problem after problem, I have gone through and fixed.

The previous owner had only stated he had a "Stage 3 clutch", which threw a red flag right away for me.

For those who are not familiar with ebay clutches, the springs let loose on the clutch discs ALL OF THE TIME. I have yet to see any problems with pressure plates.

I pulled it apart and found the 6 puck clutch had lost it's springs - as I had guessed. The pressure plate however, was still perfect.

After searching, searching, searching no one had a clear answer if you could use a KA clutch disc with a CA pressure plate. Everyone always says to replace both, blah blah blah, which is not always necessary.

After measuring the CA disc and the KA disc, they were near identical. I then threw the CA pressure plate and KA disc in and boom, good to go! The pedal feel is actually very good, and it definitely grabs better than the stock, yet no where near as harsh as the 6 puck. Without a break in, it is holding up to 18psi no problem.

It could be a cheap solution to an upgraded clutch.

Just figured I would share this information for anyone in a similar situation. :)
