Hey guys
I just got my CF roof spoiler from ebay. I was thinking of wrapping the spoiler with CF vinyl, because the weather here is dusty most of the time, and the spoiler can get scratched easily. I already have CF wrap on my car and some of it is already scratched, but do you think I should wrap the spoiler? or would that damage the CF? :ohno:

Oh and have anyone tried putting the roof spoiler on the trunk? to make it a regular trunk spoiler?

The spoiler is not installed yet

I wouldn't wrap it because even though it'll get scratched you wont see the.real beauty to it. If I were to wrap it, I would of bought a non CF one :naughty:

That's a really good point!
I think I would consider wrapping it when it actually gets scratched.. But did anyone try to put it on the trunk? I tried putting it on the trunk to see how it would look like. I thought it looked really good, it's dark outside now, so i'll wait till morning then I'll post some pictures of it on the trunk.

i actually bought it as well, and thought about throwing it onto the trunk.. I personally didn't like how it looked, but it all depends on you. Since you are the one seeing it everyday, lol.

3m and other companies make "clear bra" kits for most cars. You can buy a completely clear front end over lay to protect the front of the car from stone chips

Any idea how much this would normally cost, installed? I found a guy who wants $700 for the bumper and 18" of hood+fenders. This sounds RIDICULOUS to me.

I would ask Matt (PHENOMenalVinyl) they will give you the best results and no rip off prices. $700 is ridiculous..

The problem is, I am in Regina SK. I only found one guy who does it, which is probably why it's so expensive.

Anyone know if those 3m films are something that are easy (reasonably) to install?

This is an old thread, but does anyone know if the cf roof spoiler fits on a 2011 altima coupe? It says it only fits the 2008-2010, but I'm pretty sure it still fits. Just want to clarify before I buy.

yeah it'll fit, the only changes to the car throughout its life have been the front, such as the bumper, front fenders, headlights, and hood. As long as it doesn't have to do with those areas, you're golden.
