Has anyone placed an Eaton compressor on a '89 240SX before?I would like to know how to mount this big sucker under the hood. Can the engine internals handle 0,4 Bar boost? I would like to keep the AC working. Tanks in advance for your support......

Reinventing the wheel in useless.........in that time you could have been drifting!!!!!!!!

I dont see why an eaton couldn't be used. You're just gonna have to fab up some stuff. I want to use a supercharger on my S14. I plan on doing so with a Procharger unit and use an intercooler as well. I think this will be alot easier (and more efficient) than an eaton. Although, Eatons can be had pretty cheap. What model are you going to use?? M90??

Here is a crazy blower setup on a z series nissan sohc, which is very very similar to sohc ka. Now if you could just fit that setup into a 240sx, with an efi system instead of carb, would be very sick.

Although this is the NA forum, the blower setup would be original and "high-tech" as far as custom parts and modification design. I give two thumbs up to anyone that can pull it off nicely.

btw. The engine above is either a nissan california model z20, or any z22. It could even be a z24 with z20,22 valve cover, i dont know haha but its cool.

Thats a serious looking engine. Well, you'll just have to fab up an intake manifold and bolt that sucker on top of it. You may have to make a custom length snout for the pulley to reach the right distance. It definitly can be done, no doubt about that. It may be a little hard to do b/c I think those blowers have to sit level, not sideways since they are self contained. Which means the blower outlet would have to sit lower than the intake ports on the head for it to fit under the hood. I dunno, just takes some time to come up with the best possible way.
