I am wanting to disassemble my headlights to do some work on them. but the methods ive seen seem to be possibly damaging. this is my daily driver. so only down time for the vehicle i have is on the weekend when im not working. i am thinking of getting another set of headlights so it wont require as much down time. but just want to know the best way to disassemble them. thanks in advance.

i saw the tutorial for blacking out headlights and he said he used a dremel. i def. don't want to do that. someone told me to put in oven. but im afraid of melting them. they are just plastic. anyone know of any other ways there may be.
