I just got a new one piece aluminum drive shaft and in order to install it i have to take down the exhaust, i have a HKS high cat back, alot of the bolts are rusted, so does anyone know were the best part that i should lower. also do you think i could cut between the flange and than but i new bolt on or is that a bad idea. thanks

Don't cut the flange. Take it to an exhaust shop and they can cut/torch the old bolts out without damaging the exhaust. Use stainless steel hardware next time, and you'll be fine.

yeah i think that will be the best thing to do, i will have then remove it and i will take the driveshaft out and put the new one in and put the exhaust back on myself with all new hardware, but where should i have them remove it from i have a full system, where is a good place where i can access the drive shaft from? I think also from now on everything i take apart i will be replacing with new hardware because i have had alot of trouble with stripping bolts around the car, esp. in the head, but its somthing that is cheep to fix rather that stripping somthing that will really be bad in the long run, thanks alot.

you can do it yourself with a map gas / propane torch but if it would be your first time picking one up i dont reccomend it. I soaked mine in pb blaster for a night then torched it up and they came off no problem

**its easiest to take the full exhaust off from the headers, 3 bolts on each pipe and then you just slip out the rubber exhaust mounts
