easy and simple problem(heat-cool control doesn't go back and forth)

My little temp. adjustor. When i try to move it back and forth it's stuck. Broken cable or what? It's going to snow soon so it would be nice to have some heat

what kind of car? on many nissans you can trace the cable under the dash and disconnect it. then you can operate the temp door by hand. some have hot water control valves and they also need to be operated.

ok then i believe it is cable operated. just follow the cable. if you want you can pull the control head out and try to operate the cable itself in case the control head is messed up.
