I'm in need of rolling my fenders because of a new wheel/tire setup and in my search for options I stumbled upon the eastwood fender finisher.

Just wondering if anybody has any opinions on this? I think it's a new product or something. It seems like it'd be a lot better than using a fender roller if all you need is the inner lip taken care of and not really made for flaring.

Here's a video of it action. Sadly, it doesn't give you a good closeup shot of the lip being folded. Youtube

The eastwood fender roller works great. It is a much more controlled method to prevent the paint from splitting. Plus, once you have one, you can lend it to others for some recoup on the expense.

Eh, I guess I'll just play it safe and get an actual fender roller.

Oh, sorry. I assumed you have one from them or have used one of theirs before, seeing as how you're pretty adamant about me getting it.

What would you do about wheel wells after doin a roll/pull? Wouldn't this leave no place to screw them in to?

... or does everyone just use zipties

I use zip ties and my fenders aren't rolled or pulled.

I'm curious too though. The thought has crossed my mind more than once. I think most people just get rid of the fender liners but I don't want to do that.

If you lower you car, you can use heat gun to reshape the fender liners. That's what broadfield did and I think it's pretty neat idea. You definitely want front fender liners.

Yeah. The rears don't use any kind of liner.

If you find out more about modifying the liners, please share with the rest of us.

My car's as low as it can go without rubbing the liners. I really just need to know for when I get new wheels. If anyone does it with a heat gun, a write-up would be awesome.
