Rolling looks safer that that thing.AAV240sx wrote:I'm in need of rolling my fenders because of a new wheel/tire setup and in my search for options I stumbled upon the eastwood fender finisher.
Just wondering if anybody has any opinions on this? I think it's a new product or something. It seems like it'd be a lot better than using a fender roller if all you need is the inner lip taken care of and not really made for flaring.
Here's a video of it action. Sadly, it doesn't give you a good closeup shot of the lip being folded. Youtube
you just chuck them i think... your talking bout the front right?Stripes wrote:What would you do about wheel wells after doin a roll/pull? Wouldn't this leave no place to screw them in to?

I use zip ties and my fenders aren't rolled or pulled.Stripes wrote:What would you do about wheel wells after doin a roll/pull? Wouldn't this leave no place to screw them in to?

If you lower you car, you can use heat gun to reshape the fender liners. That's what broadfield did and I think it's pretty neat idea. You definitely want front fender liners.Philipio wrote:I'm curious too though. The thought has crossed my mind more than once. I think most people just get rid of the fender liners but I don't want to do that.
Yeah. The rears don't use any kind of liner.S133P3R wrote:you just chuck them i think... your talking bout the front right?
i was gonna say, wtf are you driving? lol...Stripes wrote:Yeah. The rears don't use any kind of liner.
If you find out more about modifying the liners, please share with the rest of us.Stripes wrote:Yeah I wanna put 17x9.5 +12's up front but I definitely have to keep my fender liners.I'll have to ask toby about that.
My car's as low as it can go without rubbing the liners. I really just need to know for when I get new wheels. If anyone does it with a heat gun, a write-up would be awesome.94_240sx wrote:
