So, my friend Brandon had been hearing this ad on the radio about the Eastern Miata Club having a car meet with all cars welcome. Talking dyno sessions and all. We figured it'd be cool to take his 2nd Gen RX-7 Vert. It was only 2 hours away, so we get there, and notice there aren't many cars in the parking lot. "Eh, maybe it's not really started yet." So we go into National Speed Inc. where the meet was suppose to take place and sure enough, it was canceled. Turns out 5 of the 9 or so members they have caught the flu. We were bored, so we decided to check the GPS for local attractions and found there was a Reptarium nearby. Got to watch some crocs eat some chickens and some snakes eat some rats. Either way, here are some pics.

So I guess we can conclude that the Miata outing was a "croc" of shiat?

Good job finding something fun as a last minute change. :bigthumb:

LOL Nice Bubba, and yeah, pretty much. National Speed. Inc seemed like a pretty nice shop, though. They had a dyno chart from a diesel there that maxed out how much torque it could read.

Then we can only assume it made over 9000 ft/lbs of torque!

I wish I could've seen some crocs eat chickens, sounds awesome! Haha

I'm stationed in Havelock (Cherry Point), although if your meets are worth-while(not doubting you, I've just showed up to quite a few crap meets since I got to NC) and you could get something together on Saturdays, I'm sure Brandon and myself would be down for it. Hell, when my harness gets here, I might even bring the S13 down. ;)
