Anyone know some locations, or any places to get some racing practice in at? Hell any place to drift would be awesome as well.

You could contact someone over in the Highland Sports Car Club - they're based in Asheville. Its not that far a drive and from what I've seen it looks like they have events on a semi-regular basis. Just watch for all the troopers (TN and NC) on I26, and Unicoi County Sheriff cruisers patrol pretty heavily during the morning.
