Any East Coast Q's?

Any Q Owners in South NJ/Delaware/Pennsylvania?

I wish there was someone more knowledgeable about Q's close to me to help me with Q stuff. I don't have enough confidence in myself to attempt the stuff that I see here.

This guy who lives diagonally from me across the street has a 90-93 Q with the newer 5-Spoke alloy wheels on it. But I don't think his Q runs. It hasn't moved in almost a year. It's a sweet wine/burgandy color. But he's like never home, so I have no one to talk Q with. Any of you guys close to me, let me know!

Well, I live in North Jersey but I wouldn't call myself super knowledgeable and I plan to get rid of my Q this year. Jamesmost lives in NY. I met him once and he's cool people. His Q is very nice too. I'm sure there's more people in the area.

Damn shame. I'd really like to meet some Q owners and get together andtalk Q, help each other with car stuff, and i don't know, form a club?

Wishful thinking.

I thinks you've seen my posts...

I'm in Paoli, PA, two Qs.

In fact, I just did a freekin double take... I'm at the KofP mall one hour ago. I just parked the green Q 94 and shoped for 1/2 hour. I came out and son-of-a-gun, there goes a green 94/94/96 with the same wheels (01 sport wheels 17), I thought someone WAS STEALING my Q!!!!

I then saw mine. I walked over to the mirror green Q and some lady got out---I told her I had the exact same car---hers had the same 01 17 wheels---how weird is THAT.

I could tell she knew or cared nithing about the car by the expression on her face so I walked away...

How about that! A clone!!!!

Wow. How cool.

I keep seeing this one champagne/gold colored Q everywhere I go. I think it's the same one. It's gotta be at least a 94.

You have two Q's? Lucky.

I live in Staten Island NY. Most Q's I see here are in pretty bad shape, but about 1 week ago I was driving home from work and saw the exact year, color (dark green) , everything as my Q coming towards me. I could see he was checking out my car as much as I was scoping his. He stopped next to me and we chatted for a second.

His car was looking pretty straight and he had 20's on it (which he did not recommend). Told him of my plan (just got KYB's, eibachs, new rims and tires), we were holding up traffic pretty bad so it was over pretty quick. As he drove off I noticed he had PA. plates ( I currently have FL. plates). I myself have limited mechanical skills but I agree, it would be nice to get together with others in the area.

dipset, dipset, dipset, dipset......

Here in Sacramento I see one or two G50's a week and occasionally have the opportunity to strike up a conversation with a Q owner. I agree with you that most people don't know the first thing about their Q's and don't care. When they break (not often) it goes to the shop. I haven't met a DIY'er yet except for the few locals from NICO. I guess that's why there's so many Q's available here in NorCal for $200-$700 with dead trannys or blown engines.

There must be a large number of Q's in California compared to the rest of the country. I read posts all the time where members can't find any Q's for sale but I look on Craigslist and today there are five G50's in Sacramento and eleven in San Francisco listed. In SoCal/San Diego there are another dozen for sale.

Yeah man. I can't find any out here. Auto Trader might show a couple but they're usually more than 50 miles away. I'm not in the market for a Q, I just want to befriend a Q owner you know? So maybe I don't have to sift through the NICO archives to figure something out.
