You test by running down the track...tune your car to run faster....test it again, etc....

Hmmm...okay. Thanks! :DRobbie hope I get to see you there at the meet...just rent a car or something to get there. ;)

Fred! We need to lock in a departure time from Louisville on meet day.It has been suggested on another board the we leave about 8-8:30am to allow us to get to the track at or just prior to it opening. Is that too early for the northern people? You all chime in so we can get feedback.:D

Im not speaking for the NKY People but I know that makes for an awfully long day. That means if I want to make the pre-meet at 8-830, I have to leave at like 6am on Sat  (takes me roughly 1hr 1/2 to 2 hrs to get to Lou) I'm about 120 miles away. If that is the case I may as well just skip the pre-meet and head down to BG straight from NKY. Not to sound like a loser but that early is a little much. But if the Lou. people want to leave that early its fine, its your call. I just thought it would just be fun to convoy down there with you guys like last time.

how long of a drive is it from lou to BG???

i may drive to loui the night before, stay in a hotel, then goto BG with you guys. then stay some where the next night or so, im going to try an stay down there for like 3-4 days hang out in Ky and maybe do some job hunting or somthing! that and a breaking the trip into separate days might be alittle easier on the Car instead of the 4-6 hr strait through!!! Any one got my back to rent a car if i blow up the Ca18 down at the track?? im not old enough to rent one yet . of course i would pay for it and insure it on my cc

The drive from Louisville to Bowling Green is about two hours, maybe a little less.

The drive from Louisiville to Bowling Green is about 1hr 45 min. and isn't too bad.

But, to avoid that, EVERYONE should come down the night before and spend both Friday AND Sat. night in the Motel 6. I mean, come on, it'll be like $15 a night if you have 4 to a room. That's NOTHING!!!!

I will have to stay here in Louisville to pick up all those folks that come to the pre-meet.And also make sure we dont get lost looking for teh track.

The times for teh pre-meet are 9:30 am EST meet and 10:00am EST leave to BB that should get us on the track at 10:30 am CST.If there is a consensus I will post on earlier time, but I think 9:30time may pushing it to begin with, for a Saturday morning.

Fred...:)

Hey Fred, can you email me. I am trying to work on the details for a pre-meet here in lex, and want to find out the route you are going to take to see if it would be possible for us to meet up with you all on the road.

Elizabethtown would be the best place to meet up on Sat. morning. If you guys could somehow coordinate it using times and cell phones (in case one group is running behind), it is only an hour drive to Bowling Green from there.

Just my 2 cents...

the BG meets I65 at E-town that would be the best place to try and meet up.We should be rolling past the BG exit about 10:40am or so if we leave at 10:00.If your group wants too we could exchange cell #s and try and time it well.
