easily add bluetooth streaming and handsfree cell to 03 m45

I checked all over for a simple unit to buy and was not able to find one listed anywhere. I sent pics of the rear of my radio (tape deck) to Grom and they told me they have a kit that worked which is http://www.gromaudio.com/store/bt3_adap ... ation.html

again the site does not list it for this year but it does work



It worked and I am able to use the steering wheel controls to control my Pandora as well as my mp3 on my cell phone.

I have a 2003 m45 without navi. hope this helps someone in here.

Actually, this DOES help me! I've got the same car and have been looking for something like this. Was it an easy install? Details on that would be great before I pull the trigger. Thanks for posting!

Yep it was very easy. U remove the radio. U remove the center console so that u can remove the tape player. U unplug a plug from the back of tape deck and plug a plug from the grom unit. And u tape into a power source that it tells you to in the instructions and BOOM Bluetooth lol

I have a 2003 Infiniti m45. I just got in the mail the grom audio bt3..... I access the back of the tape deck and unplug the correct cd harness plug and insert the grom harness in it's place. I tapped into the cigarette lighter and checked it for power it does, anyway once I do this when I push on the SAT button or cd nothing happens and i goto pair Bluetooth and the grom is not showing on any bluetooth.....

What do i do, I feel pissed and am probably gonna have to reship and ask for a refund

You will push the CD button not the sat, if your car is like mine it did not come with stock sat so if you push the button it tells you not installed or something. As to nothing working when you push the CD button the only thing I can think of is something isn't connected fully, I bought the USB Grom adapter, turns out I should have done the bluetooth as the usb just sounds over driven to the point I took it out.

So this may not work for me, my car does have the satellite system... anyone know about this or if there's a way to make it work with having the stock navigation

I would also like to know if this works with the nav/cd/dvd package. Just made a post about stuck on ideas to get streaming audio from my phone.
