I want it to be pretty much a direct plug and play kinda deal dont wanna have to do any rewireing

If you are just swapping the engine and it is an s14 motor to s14 chassis it should be plug and play. There are some differences but they would be on the chassis harness and the car is already set up for it. Just use the harness and ecu that is for the good shell and the motor from the wrecked shell. You should be good to go.

Don't forget you have to take out the bearing adapter on the back of the auto motor and put in a pilot bushing!!!!!!

Take a look at the ecu plugs to double check they are the same. If the ecu plugs are the same than you are the same obd. If it isn't the same obd it will still work just may have a few small things to change. If the shell is a good buy then by all means buy it and sort out the small stuff later.

Late month 95's are OBDII. ECU is easiest way to tell if the motor is out of the car.

Otherwise look at the CTS. If it's red, it's OBDI. If it's blue (I believe?) then it's OBDII. (This is on a stock KA)
