easiest KA to put into a 95 240sx

K my 95 240sx SE was swapped, but now the engine is out and I need to get it running again for a bit with a KA24 engine. I never paid much attention to KA's and that's why I'm having problems.

The guy I just talked to said I would have problems because 95' had a unique-to-that-year harness. I would think that is the F3 plug in the s14 chassis is the same for all s14, 95-98, then can't I get a 96 harness/96 ecu and a KA?

My KA harness has been hacked up to make an in-between harness for the CA engine harness to the S14 chassis. Maybe I can put in a S13 KA using my in-between harness since the CA and the S13 KA are similar?

Really, I'd like a cheap/readily available way to put a working KA in my car using what I have.
