Hey guys, I have a 180sx with a CA18det. Currently here are the specs/mods:

FMIC, stock turbo, Universal Boost Controller, Greddy rs BOV, K&N intake, Walbro 255 pump, Stock injectors (i believe) 3" turbo back exhuast.

I have the T28 from the s14 in my trunk, just not hooked up yet. I also want to get some 550cc injectors. Im wondering, if I install the turbo and injectors, and run about 12-14PSI, what kind of numbers can expect to hit (with a good tune, and without any tune)?

What mods can I add to get 300whp? (on a budget)

Im on a budget here, and Im new to the CA, so Im just here to kind of get a feel for which kinds of set ups put out what kind of numbers. Maybe posting your own set ups would help too!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help.

and sorry if this has already been asked.

On 14psi you could probably see close to 250whp with the t28 and some proper injectors. Without a good tune it isnt gonna run with those 550s in there. For 300whp youll need a larger turbo, but you will be covered everywhere else. 550cc injectors will be near maxed out on 300whp, but they will do the job well enough.

Welcome to the CA forum! These engines totally rule.

Ya I checked that out, I was just looking for some more concrete answers. Some guys dont post how much boost they were running etc.

Thanks for the help. Posting your set ups would help though.

Well, mine hasnt been on a dyno, but heres what Ive got. I'm running a gt28r turbo, 510cc/min injectors, fmic, removed secondary runner butterflies, walbro 255, nismo fpr, hks intake, nismo exhaust, and megasquirt. I think that should about cover it. I would like to see 280whp on 18 or 19psi, but anything over about 260whp would be sweet.

Thanks for your help. I think I have a grasp on what kind of numbers I can expect to hit now.
