So I have to replace my front and rear main seal, clutch, release bearing, oil pan gasket and my motor mounts.

Do you guys think it would be eaiser ot just pull the engine or do all the work with the engine in?

Thanks in Advance!

It is doable in the car but it all depends if you have experience pulling engines. If you have pulled one before you know the work that it takes. It would be easier to replace those parts with the engine out but it is still a good amount of work to pull an engine. If your pulling your engine and replacing some seals i would go ahead and by a full engine gasket kit and do them all while the engine is out.

i can pull a engine in about 30 minutes by myself. what i would do in your case would be to do one at a time. do the front main seal and oil pan at the same time along with the mounts, then wait a while then do the rear seal and clutch. pulling the transmission is going to be your biggest project.

Depends on whether you have another car to drive while it is down. If you do then I say pull the motor. Take it to your local self serve car wash and clean it good. Do your work and throw it back in.
