Apparently there was an earthquake (magnitude 4) while I was on my way to work tonight, but I didn't feel anything.

Can anyone on the West Coast confirm that it's harder to detect/feel an earthquake while in a moving vehicle?

Ive never been through an earthquake but it would make sense that the suspension would absorb most of the vibrations.

That was my theory too.....

I know a magnitude 4 quake isn't big, but it is considered to be for the area I live in.
