There is going to be an earthquake in No 16. 2008. The drills today is for practicing. They predict it's gonna be over 6.0 Richter. Be AWARE guys

1994 northridge earthquake lasted 7 secs at 6.7 magnitude

the one coming up should be lasting 2-3mins 7.5 or greater magnitude

it can happen now or within 30 years, cant predict an earthquake as accurately as a hurricane

When i was in public school in staten island back in.. damn ill just leave the date out of it lol...

We had drills for.. im not sure the term.. aerial attacks, bombs etc..

It was one scary thing to hear a siren and have to hide under desks in the hallways leaned up against walls.

I cant really imagine what its gotta be like to be in a SIGNIFICANT earthquake.

We've got a lot of technology to help ease the impact of eartquakes. One of my old schools sat on top of a teflon sheet that allowed it to move slightly.

My office was built 50+ years ago. If it shakes, I'll probably be under rubble
