Must not be a big deal, because nobody else is reporting it yet. It happened over 2 hours ago, but it doesn't seem like anything too severe.

It still sucks they're having to experience another earthquake though.

I doubt they're going to make a big deal out of it, it's over an hour away from the original site, so it's not really that near... and it was a 5.9, which is considered a moderate earthquake. There's 1,319 5.0-5.9 earthquakes per year, so yes it sucks they're having to experience another earthquake, but it's nowhere near the strength of the last one.

Ohhh.

Well thats good. So did anything get damaged??

Gotta forgive me ha i have lived in south west Louisiana my whole life.. We don't worry about earth quakes so I don't know much about them. But I can tell you a thing or 2 about hurricanes though..

I guess just delete this thread if you want if its not a real big deal.

I didn't mean to come across jerky about it, I just didn't want everybody freaking out about another earthquake. No need to delete the thread, I'd still like to hear from some of the Japan guys here and see if any damage occurred and Ect.

Quakes are common around that area of the world from what I understand, just not 9.0 plus ones.

I know it looks bad, but it's pretty much a regular day on the "ring of fire." I just called Neal, he didn't even feel it in Tokyo.

Yeah. I was sleeping when it happened. I usually wake up with quakes if I am asleep, but this one musta been pretty weak in my area.

I don't even think it made the newspaper Thursday or Yesterday.
