I just replaced my brakes after 40,000 miles and then barely 8 months later I was told that there is 10% of the brake pad left?!!! Has anyone else experienced this with the brakes? Do you have to use Brembro brakes as I've heard that these breaks tend to wear pretty quick; and if you don't which brand have people had experience with? Thanks.

Man, my last breakpads (on my old nissan) I burned in about 20,000 miles, how the hell do you get 8 months/40,000miles out of those things!?

Omen - Pretty common, I'm going through the same deal.

Keep in mind that the TCS uses the brakes, so you're effectively "riding the brake" if you drive "aggressively".

Facory pads are super-soft, too. Great for stopping, bad for pad wear.
