Early 90s (s13) 240sx is #1 worst used car to buy.

Some ******* came up to me and said that out of nowhere while i was working on my car. He's like, "Did you know that those early 90s 240sx's are like the worst used cars to buy?" This guy i work with said he was a mechanic or something. I just looked at him and said thanks for that useless information.

I got mine at 92k miles and i've been nothing but happy with this car. From what i've seen these cars are real reliable too if you take care of them, peopel are talking about how there cars are at like 160k and above on this board. I just wanted to smack that guy. haha I just wondered what you all thought about this. :thinker

what i have mine at 180k since october only problems have been ac and overheating but found out i had a messed up radiator but other than that smoth sailing for me... i think its 180,413 think

Yeah, my car as about 167, 500 miles on it, I bought it with that and the only thing that I had to do was change the anti- freeze because it as dirty. I actually have to go the mechanic soon because I think ym power steering pump lost some stuff, but thats it!

what an idiot , i swear, i wouldnt be supised if you saw him driving a civic!! my car only says 20,000 on the odometer, but its a 91 so im sure it has more thatn that, does the odometer reset if you put a new engine in?? well, anyways, i ve had my s13 for about 7 months and havent had any problems with , therefore i'm happy with it.

it doesnt reset with a new engine...but the previous owner may have blown the old one and when the new one was installed he could have rolled back the odometer to 0 to indicate the new engine...just a thought

or maybe you car just has 1,020,000 miles on it...but i doubt that

Rolling back the odometer is only allowed if the engine is new\rebuilt and the body as well, as it reflects the entire car as a whole.

You guys are getting 150k+???? I'm still at 75k and itching to take my KA apart to look at its private parts.... *drool....
