Maybe its just the history major in me coming out, but I remembered reading stories about factory backed 240sx's in GT racing from way back in the day, did a bit of searching and stumbled upon this:

Now I'm really interested to find out more, if anyone else has knowledge about these cars and teams please share, as well as any links you may have. Also notice some of the comments at the bottom of the page, there are a couple by some bloke named Ryan Hampton, cool stuff in any case.

Hey look, more googling led me right back to NICO... figures

It's built on a tube frame and was campaigned by (I think) Leitzinger Racing in the IMSA GT series. IT was essentially the same as the 300ZX car with the exception of the body work. It used a VG30ET. I think the flares were like 70mm front and back.
I know the 300ZX recieved the VH engine in '95, but I believe the 240SX was retired at that point.

Yeah thats basically what I've found. The car in the pic above is one of the Leitzinger Racing cars, not really an S13 at all underneath but still cool I think.

Nice. I'm just waiting for the inevitable thread, "Where can I get this body kit?"
