Hey I was wondering what you guys thought of either Earl's or the Goodridge stainless steel brake lines. I've been doing some reading on both of them and some say that the Earl's or Aerospeed fittings are superior to the Goodridge ones, but I'd like to hear from what other people have to say. Also have you guys tried the Russel ones that PDM are selling? How do they match up?

My dilemma is like this, I found some lines using Earl's fittings, but they're not DOT approved, the Russel and the Goodridge ones are DOT approved. Although like I said before, the Earl's I heard were better than the Goodridge.

which do you guys think I should go for?

I'd say they're all pretty much the same and all run about $120. Buy whichever set makes you feel best, a stainless steel line is really just a stainless steel line. Never heard of the actual line breaking, so go with whatever you think will make you sleep better.

This is an email I received from Ron at Enjukuracing.com:

Steve, We carry Goodridge lines, not Russell. Russell are a cheaper line and not as high of quality as the Goodridge in our opinion. Also, some of Russell's applications are NOT DOT approved, Goodridge lines are all DOT approved. Our Goodridge lines are $99.99.

They are awesome as far as service and finding what you need... they got me a pair of custom slotted only brembo rotors cheaper than any other brand... give them a ring and tell them steve from Tampa sent you!!!!!!

Goodridge should be fine, my friend has been running them for a year actually, and they are the most widely carried.
