No they don't, at least they didn't when I checked 2 months ago. However, the 300zx rods are very close and with some custom pistons I believe they work, for more information on that setup try contacting Marc at http://www.import-autoperformance.com I think that's what he's running in his motor.

Yeah if I remember right they are just a TINY bit long and require a custom sized wrist pin for the piston. Don't quote me on that though, it's from memory from several months ago ;) Oh, they were Z32 rods as well if there is any difference.

so lets have a group buy on 300zx rods, lol...it would take 2 sets to supply 3 members with rods.I was initially steered away from eagle, people said their rods sucked...but I started looking at some built motors, and I found out that a bunch of really high powered DSM's use eagle rods, in the eclipse and the lancer, and the older galant VR-4's... and I am talking 500 hp motors. And I found a couple honda guys making high HP with them too.If you could get them to work, they are a lot cheaper and apparently are of decent quality. But then again, the stock rods are pretty good too.

I emailed them a week ago and they said they do not have any rods for the KA motor. They said they may have some rods for the KA within a year.

I've heard you better use some upgraded rod bolts with these rods. Why not just go with Pauter or Crower? Is it that much cheaper? Might not be worth it IMO.

I need a set of your "ESP" H Beam rods for a Nissan KA24DE engine. Do you plan on making these rods anytime soon. Or can you custom make a set. This is a 2.4L engine (4 cyl.). What would it take for you a make a set for me? Do you need me to send you one of the stock rods. Thanks,Serious BuyerKyle Bennett

Response From Eagle: Kyle, We may be producing rods for the KA24 engines next year, but they are currently not available. Thanks

Ever consider the reason the DSM community is having such good luck with them is that their stock rods have been proven to hold 500hp? Eagle rods just don't look much more sturdy than stock to me.

Crower rods are somewhere in the neighborhood of 650 a set custom made. I emailed them and talked with them for a while. They have rods, pistons, and a crankshaft and will have cams sometime 2004. I'll check my emails for prices when I get home. They are I-beam rods not sure of h-beam costs more. But pauter are x-beam and I've never heard of that nor have most of my "car friends" which somewhat scares me...

Point taken.:pface

But compare a pic of a pauter rod to an eagle rod for the same engine and you'll see what i mean.

I think the Eagle looks more sturdy than the Pauter IMO. But what do i kow whitout having tested either? Pauter looks like a thicker STOCK rod. At least it does to me.....unless i'm looking at the wrong rod.

Have ya'll seen a Pauter rod next to a stock rod in person? there is NO comparison. Pauter rates their rods in the KA for 800-1000hp anyway and the machine work is absolutely perfect on them. The Pauter is also nothing like the design of the stock rod, if ya'll want to know what a pauter rod looks like, go here: http://www.pauter.com/4340_rods.htm IMO the Winston Cup Open Series rod at the bottom looks most like the actual KA rods they make. Anyway, back to the Eagle discussion...WD, I'll try to look into that stuff tomorrow.

pauter's own U I dont have to even look at an eagle and I know they are way weaker than a pauter.

pauter rods are damn near indestructible...well, maybe not indestructible, but they're well worth every penny.

eagle rods on the other hand...i've heard horror stories about the small ends being a weak point. make sure you replace the rod bolts too.

Excellent picture you found there, that's EXACTLY what they look like. Do you mean the VG30? If so they are almost the same rods :)

I don't want to let this die, had anyone heard anything on Z32 rods and what exactly has to be done to accomodate them in a 240 (ie custom wrist pins or what?)

I've read the entire Google Info Site....No specs. I've found some great deals though...lol. I think I might just have to order a set and have my machine shop custom fit the pistons. That way we will know what CR pistons we'll need to order. Or hog all the info to myself and sell them from my shop...heh.
